Students wearing costumes considered to be overexposing, suggestive, or in poor taste will be sent home or asked to change.  Dresses, skirts, and shorts need to be long enough to be even with the student’s thumb tip when arms are at their side.  No gang style attire.  Masks may only be worn during the best costume contest during lunch.  No extreme makeup that hides the identity of the student.  No look-alike weapons - examples: toy guns, knives, etc.  All other dress code standards are in effect.  General Rule:  Your costume cannot affect the learning process in the classrooms for either yourself or your classmates.   Please choose to wear safe and appropriate costumes.
