Guided Studies
This course is designed to assist students who have not been successful in school in developing the habits
necessary for them to achieve in school, to be on track for graduation, and to set education and/or career
goals beyond high school. Emphasis will be placed on recognition of students’ strengths, successes,
growth as well as their personal assets. Time will be spent in building the assets students will need for
school success, developing effective strategies to deal with personal challenges or past school failure, and
setting goals for the future.
