A-G Requirements
4-YEAR UNIVERSITY
"A - G" ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
University of California (UC System)
and
California State University (CSU System)
TEST SCORES: ACT or SAT and SAT Subject tests are required for the UC System
ACT or SAT is required for the Cal State System
- CSU/UC GPA: Only classes designated as College Prep (P), Honors (HP), or Advanced Placement (AP) taken in the 10th and 11th grades are calculated towards the CSU/UC GPA. In addition, CSU and the UC's award an extra point to the GPA for an A, B, or C earned in a maximum of 4 Honors/AP designated classes taken in the Sophomore and Junior years.
- Private Colleges and Universities have varying entrance requirements. Each school should be independently investigated.
